Nothing More Fun Than A Little Mud!!

« on: September 25, 2005, 02:43:52 pm »

I was playing around on the internet and was seeing what words would find this site (Boredom).  I found a very important word that was left out.  "TRD" It's not in your Meta Tags.  I know it's not a big deal, but it might boost traffic.  Anyway sorry to bug ya'll.  Site looks great.

So Far only on Google, but I'm sure thats because they have ads here.  Need to make the meta tag long as possible.  There is no limit for how long it could be so add many word.  Even break them up.

Offroad, Off road, TRD, Toyota Racing Development, Toyota Offroad....  and so on.  the more the better for the site to be picked up.

Hmm...interesting, believe it or not most of our search engine traffic comes from Yahoo! and MSN search. We don't get that many from Google. Sad because everyone searches Google. But on a good note if you type in 'Toyota Offroading' in Yahoo! we are both 2nd AND 3rd (as of right now)

Matt - Besides adding all of the TRD option to the Meta tags, I have found adding some misspellings may help also.  I usually try to think of various ways someone can misspell a word and put it into the meta tag section.  Just something one of my web development instructors mentioned during class.
