When you are driving from Ca to Az, after about 5/8ths of the drive there are huge sand dunes out there and I always see trucks and dirt bikes out there. I'll get a better description of where they're located. But they look like alot of fun.

you mean kinda like this one?? the dunes out there are a blast. what you probably see is Gordon's well on the north side, and Buttercup on the south end.

I hope we can keep this idea alive! I know it's easier for some than for others.
Even though i've driven accross the country a couple times, I thought i would check my milage to San Diego on mapquest. 2,211.30 miles from Kalamazoo and, they claim 32 hrs-24 minutes. So...three days if I take my time. If we did a VEGAS area meet I could cut that down to 2 days. At one time we had at least 7 planning to attend a west coast meet sometime in May 2006. Are you all still in?

Well as you know the big thing for me is 1) school conflicts and 2) the COST!

I did find out that my parents are planning a trip to Cali this summer and I will probably go along as well. If I can time it just right and get away from them for a day this could work!

This will depend on what the final verdict is for where this is going to take place.  I'm still planning on going to Easter Jeep Safari this year and may not be able to get away again in May.
