Basically the same discussion when you talk about a 2.7L - 3.0L - 3.4L    The 2.7L is a badass engine. I have owned oen and I know that's its worthy of it's rep. I think that the 3.0L has a bad rep and not enough people believe in that engine. It's very underpowered as far as HP, but it's a torquey little motor. I never had a problem out of my 92 3.0L and I don't plan on it with this one either. LOL.

ps...I only got the 3.0L so I could do the 3.4L swap a couple years down the road.

I was looking at his bump stops up front and noticed that they might have 1" of clearance. I couldn't believe how little suspension travel nissan allows for a 4x4. I know if you buy the actual 4x4offroad package truck then everything is higher and the truck comes with bigger tires, but still. The only real difference in Tacomas is " the locker".

Yeah, the NISMO Off Road edtn is pretty sweet.

I will agree with you, but I know he couldn't get that one. I tried to tell him to wait and at least buy the 4x4 Offroad addition truck, but he wanted a truck and wanted right then, so you know.
