Here is my friend's first experience offroad. He has always been a car guy. driving around a nissan 240sx for years now and he finally got himself a 4x4. I know its a Nissan but at least it's not American. LOL. He is really interested in lifting and everything else to the truck and you will be sure to see him in most of my pictures because he had a blast when we went on monday. Here ya go .........

The boy had no fear. When we did the shot of him flexing he almost rolled it on its side. He was laughing and saying " why didn't you tell me to buy a truck sooner" the whole time down the trail. I'm just glad to have some more buddies that are willing to wheel around here again. My wheeling buddy before decided he was going to move 4 hours away and leave me alone again. LOL. Just messin James.  Wink

SD - Yeah that's right. Nissan can make a good wheeler too. I just hope I can work with him in buying a lift and some better tires for that thing. He is running BFG's but they are the all season tires. Better then my mich's MTX I can say that much for them.

AZ - Yeah I know. I have been trying to convert some of my friends for years. He has been the only one to listen. I'm glad that he got a truck because they are good to have anyways. Every man should have a truck or at least know someone that drives one. lol.

He has already been talking to me about lifts, performance parts, etc .... I'm sure he will have himself a nice ride in a couple months and be out there rippin it up with me and the guys around here. I told him that he could come on here, but I'm sure he will find a home on a Nissan board somewhere here soon.

I know he should have gotten a Toyota, but he is true Nissan threw and threw.

I was looking at his bump stops up front and noticed that they might have 1" of clearance. I couldn't believe how little suspension travel nissan allows for a 4x4. I know if you buy the actual 4x4offroad package truck then everything is higher and the truck comes with bigger tires, but still. The only real difference in Tacomas is " the locker".

i think tha V6s in that model were hella underpowered too... a 3.3L i believe... my mom had a crew cab also and tha power was comparable to my 2.7L 4cyl in terms of pulling power... but i think tha nisssan 3.3L V6 SOHC 12v versus toyotas 2.7L I4 DOHC 16v tells it all Evil Evil tha toyota has dual overhead cams and more valves per cylinder...
