" TOYS " for all ages!!!

« on: January 07, 2006, 01:28:06 am »

I'm hitting up some trail near Cave Spring tomorrow morning with some guys from over at YotaTech. I know two of them from around here, but the others are coming out of town. Hopefully I will be able to have some good shots of the truck offroad this time around for everyone ( clears throat JAMES ).

There wasn't much wheeling up there. Only took us about an hour and I didn't go all the way because I was stock and couldn't make it down to the places. They didn't go very far anyays before we had to turn around both of the trails because of big ruts and trails unknown.

The first little obsticale was really nice though and if the rest of the trail had been that it would have been fun.

You live in VA and have no front tag?Huh?
Nice pics, youre always asking what kinda rims to go with I am gonna suggest something old school and cheap.
I think your truck would look good with some white wagon wheels nobody hardly runs them any more you can get them at pep boys for less than $50 a piece and you can always paint them if you get tired of em.

I don't much like the look of white wheels. I know I can buy some black rims ( rock crawler or mountain crawler ) and they are only $50 a piece as well. They are already painted and everything so that would be one less thing for me to have to do - you know? Thanks for the idea.

CHRIS that is awsome bro but WTF?!?!? how did you get stuck on that little rut section??  Cheesy thats also a really nice runner there in the group. id actually run them 3 spoke aluminum wheels on your truck with some 31-32's or mabe even a 33x10.5 tall skinny.

so whats the verdict? how did it go for its first good trail bash?

that rut at the beginning of the trail is a lot worse than you think. The people have dug it out were running 33s and 35s or solid axles in general. We watched a jeep go up it no problem. Plus I have never done a lot of wheeling so I'm still very a noob.

I need to actually go on some real trails. This was a powerline trails that was nothing but a couple hills and wasn't very much fun. I like the obsticle at the beginning, but needed more like that so I can learn my rig. Also, so I can learn how to really wheel my rig. lol.
