" TOYS " for all ages!!!

WWW
« on: December 15, 2005, 03:42:16 am »

I wanna put something better on the back of my truck then those nasty warn out taillights that are on there now. I have been looking on ebay but can only find euro tail lights which is what I don't want this time. I was wondering if maybe a tacoma light would fit in there Huh? or if they changed the bed from pickup to tacoma. Does anyone have any ideas?

im pretty sure they wouldnt fit... tha tacomas hav curves in them vs tha older pickups sraight square ones... i say jus smoke the taillights you hav now... youd get an aftermarket look but still be stock- ya kno Huh? Grin

Now if you can just tell me how to smoke the tail lights - that would be great.

I dont think that one is going to happen Matt. I would rather put Lexus tails in mine then the caddy's.

I think it would be cool if you could fab an aluminum or metal cover to replace the original tail light then cut in the same space those round or oval LED tail lights the Jeep (does that word get censored on here) guys use. that would look cool functional and different at the same time

you can alwys do what my boy Dave (darrcoma on CT) did, he used to do these for people but no longer takes orders.

tell a paint place to Drop black auto paint 8 teaspoons per one pint of clear and spray your tails.

see this thread for a pic of two

how about this. buy new lenses first, then get the "window tint" paint from an rc hobby shop. practice on your old lenses 1 section at a time. that way you have new lenses if you dont like how they come out. if you want.... pay me the $$$ and ill buy a set for you and do em. then ship em to you done. but yea, if you do em yourself practice on the old ones first. thats my 0.02  Grin
