OK..I have asked on CT and on TN and gotten no responses..so check with you peeps and see if you have any suggestions.

The plastic panels on the doors in the 05 scratch very easily. I have managed to add a few ones to mine and I want to know if you guys/gals know of a product I could use to buff out the sratches or blend them in.

They are very small hairline scratches but it bugs the shit out of me lookin at it everytime I get in and out of the truck.

Thanks for any help, if I don't get any responses, I will check with the dealer or a body shop and get some suggestions.

if its black plastic, try that back to black stuff.   if it's colored, they have like vinyl repair kits that work on plastic as well that will fill in.

it's gray but that may work. I will try it, I just don't want to mess it up any worse.

I have asked my body shop friends what to do about the scratches in the plastic guards on my wheel flares and they said "replace em". Since they are really clear you can't just color them in. I tried buffing mine once and really screwed them up.

Unlike the older Tacos, which have vinyl, the new ones have a plastic strip that runs along the top of the interior of the door. Only bad thing, it scratches very easily. It is a dark gray in color with pits throughout. I will search around and see if I can get an interior shot.

stop being such a baby. you know you are going to get some scratches on that ride at some point and since it's only plastic, be happy about that part. I was gonna say find someting that would help fill it in. I have a couple on my front bumper, but youdont hear me complaining. lol.

I'm just messin. I know it's your baby and you got to keep it right!!!! best of luck!!!
