I choose the road less traveled

« on: April 18, 2010, 11:04:37 am »

I am Proud to be a member of The Two Trackers Four Wheel Drive Club!

Yesterday the offroad club I am a member of held it's annual trail clean-up in the Manistee National Forest in the area of Twin Lake near Muskegon MI. We collected enough trash to fill 6 large containers and sent over 800 tires to the recycler. This project is funded by our clubs dues and the generous support of our sponsors. Many people put a huge effort and a subsantial personal investment into this event supplying not only the trucks, fuel, and manpower but also heavy equipment and many hours of time putting it all together. Here's a pic of the trash collected in the area I worked in which was approximatly one square mile of land just east of The Lakewood Club.
