I choose the road less traveled

« on: December 12, 2008, 05:44:30 pm »

I've spent the last few days clearing out our members list. There has been a rash of new "members" offering videos, drugs, etc. and I am cleaning house. If I accidentally deleted you and I shouldn't have I'm sorry but if it even looks like crap it's gone.

This forum is for Toyota truck owners and lovers. Everybody else will be deleted.

There were 62 new "members" awaiting activation and I deleted them all. If you look through the members list you'll see quite a few that are banned. Most of this appeared to have happened in November for some reason.

I saw this Doug, and removed a post already... but it was posted by a "guest".  We can have non member posts?  I'm all for non member viewing, but not posting.

We changed it already. It was too much to keep up with. We have a new filter that blocks bots and checks all new members againts a list of known spammers then block them too. It has been pretty affective. No, I don't think guest can post anywhere except maybe in the shout box.
