How to retrieve back plate, get phillips head ctrsunk screws and reattach w/ less pain in rearend?Thanks for prompt response as it's my son's truck home for the weekend.

Is it really in the frame or in the body? Sounds like you need to to some dismantling to me. What cab do you have?
