does anyone know where i can get u-joints for the rear shaft? sofar I have'nt been able to locate aftermarket joints, I would have to buy the whole shaft from the dealer 1146.00 (ouch)
 sounds like the customer is going to get the shaft... Shocked

Take it to a BIG truck repair shop that builds/repairs leaf springs and such.They have replacement u-joints.I'm not sure what the cost would be but it's def better  than buying an entire shaft assy from the dealer.They will remove it and match it up.I have never not been able to get a shaft repaired unless the ears got too badly damaged.

yup, over here it's Martin Spring and Drive. Any good heavy truck driveline repair shop should be able to hook you up.

I got it, took it to CCI driveline.....25 bucks.   it's a common joint i just need to cross the # into a percision # for next time.
