2WD what!?

With this 2000 and older taco frame business... would you let Toyota buy it from you if you had perforating rust?

I was thinking about it alot today, and while I don't think I currently have any rust eating through the frame as of yet, I know I do have TONS of rust due to my through water off-roading habits.   But I freakin' love my truck.  It's the perfect size for those narrow trails in the north east and for a 2WD I couldn't ask for any better.  But if Toy were gonna give me between $10-14k to buy it from me, and I could apply that to getting a 4wd new Taco or Tundra... I think I might just do it.  Be nice to have a sic down payment like that... plus the 2 seater is not in the 5 year plan.

It would be tough to give up my truck. Mine may not fall in that catagory since it's a 2001 but i absolutely love the body style. You are right; this style is small and narrow enough to squeeze down those tight trails that the newer trucks couldn't do without damage. I guess I'd rather they just put a new frame under it and call it even.

I'd have no trouble giving mine up  Grin

I want to do stuff to my current one but I tell myself, no...wait til you get a 4wd. So yes, I'd like to trade mine in for the exact same thing but with a transfer case up front  Wink
