Do you work for Schlumberger?

I do work for Schlumberger, but technically my employer is WesternGeco (Schlumberger owns them).  You TX guys should know all about Schlumberger as they are in everyones backyard there, haha.

As far as landing the job, I found out about them through my college job placement program... I said I wanna work for these guys, and my school arranged all the interviews and stuff.  And there you have it.  They do not advertise jobs... so no Sunday ads, haha.

As seen in Off-Road Magazine

3 CAT scans an MRI and some time with the shrink. It's confirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

I generally work for 5 weeks at a time, out on a ship... and then I'm off for 5 weeks chilling at home... still getting paid.  So it's pretty sweet.  But sometimes it gets cut here and there... for example I only had 4 weeks off between my last time out and my current trip.  And my current trip is for 7 weeks, not 5.  But the more time I spend on the ships, the more money I make!!! Woo!
