Hey guys, its been a while since I logged on.. But, here's some info that maybe
will get all of us together..

So for a couple months now we've leaked out a few details about Tacoberfest 2008. And I know some of you have been looking for a few more details. The truth is, we really didn't have any other details. But we do now.

Mark your calendars....

Tacoberfest 2008
October 10-12, 2008
Copperhill, TN

The granddaddy of all CustomTacos.com meets is moving to a bigger, better location this year: Tennessee. Actually, the event is so large, we're holding it in two states: Tennessee AND North Carolina. The campsite where we're holding the event literally straddles the TN/NC border..and Georgia is only about a 5 minute drive away.

The site for Tacoberfest 2008 is a rustic ranch/camp site that includes eating/kitchen facilities, bunk houses for sleeping, and bathrooms with showers (this is a great feature to tell the wives/girlfriends about).

There's plenty to do at the ranch and the surrounding area: hiking, horseshoes, volleyball, paintball, and much more. And there's plenty of cool driving to do, with some light off road trails and scenic roads within minutes.

We'll provide you with a place to sleep, food, and non-alcoholic beverages for the weekend. You bring your truck, some blankets and bath items, and any other fun items you wish to bring. Even your dog if you wish.

We'll have vendors on site to show off their latest goodies and we'll have items to raffle off.

The registration fee is $75 per person for the weekend. Bunks will not be reserved, its a first come first served basis..

Of course, there's LOTS more details that I'm sure we'll discuss between now and October. You can find out everything you need to know AND register for the event over at http://www.tacoberfest.com.

Previous attendees will tell you there's nothing like a Tacoberfest weekend - hanging out with the best friends you've (possibly) never met. This year we're taking it to an even higher level.

I have been to a few of these events and they are a BLAST!! Awesome people(even then crazy Canadians) Grin I am sad that I won't be able to attend this years event. Even given the fact that it's only a hour or so from my hometown.I have way too much on my plate this Fall and I don't have enough vaca time left to take off. Sad This will be the first one I've missed in the last 3 or 4 years.RayRay Thanks for all the effort that you and your much better half have put into this event and I'm sure this one will be one of the greatest yet and my appologies for not being able to attend. Cool If this was closer to the Dixie Run I would be able to pull this off but I already made a commitment that if my rock crawler is ready I'd be at the Dixie Run to help support SFWDA with their efforts to save Telico.

As seen in Off-Road Magazine

3 CAT scans an MRI and some time with the shrink. It's confirmed. I'm just not right in the head.
