Ok Im at the gas station and this guy in a nissian decides to back up and not look in his mirrior. Guess who was in his path...  ME and my tacoma...  He hit me pretty hard but since my truck was higher than his he got the worst end of it. His back tail gate and bumper was messed up. My front bumper got pushed in. Which means no offroading for the time being or my tire will rub. There are some scratches too. 

So i get out of my truck and here steps out this 6 foot man with muscles the size of my head. The first thing my buddy says is  " Dude Im too tired to fight"...  He looks at it and suprisingly says, "its about time my peice of shit got a dent" His truck was old and smelly anyway so whatever. But my TACO! We look at it, its night time, i cant see anthing wrong, but a scratch. I'm not worrying, i have some touch up paint. So after looking at things we both decide not to share info. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. But i got his plate and ill be making some calls tomarrow to get him to pay for it. It kinda sucks that i didn't notice my bumper earlier. You can only notice it from the side. but oh well hopfully i get my money and theres no problems... Plus the parking lot i was in, i work for the company at a different location so i can probably get that video camera tape if worst comes to worst.

get everything done as soon as possible, the more time goes by the more things can work against you. so get your proof and everything together. sucks to hear bro  but hell, this will give way for mabe a better bumper and such?

Well I really dont care about the bumper since i have plans for prerunner bars and removing the bumper in the future. But my mom is flipin out, and I really cant offroad with it. But yea i plan on calling tomarrow.

A Nissan bit your Taco?

That really sucks dude. I can't believe you didn't exchange info. ALWAYS exchange info in any accident, even minor. It always looks like nothing whenever you're at the scene because you're head is rushing with a lot of different things, and you may see the biggest dent but miss all the minor stuff, but then when you get home and examine it you find more damage most of the time.

At least you got the plate. Post some pics.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!!!!! get that info. its a safe keep even if nothing happened. also get witness info if possible. soooo many people get screwed this way. for all you know he can turn around and say you hit him!

I have always gotten information. I had a lady hit me in my 92. I had 7 inches of lift and 35s on the truck at the time. She made my chrome bumper rust and she got tohelp buy my rollpan. I didn't really mind, but I have always been told to get information. I didn't do that 1 time with my bronco II and the same typeof thing happened. Ended up costing me a good bit of money to fix it. $200 for a 16 year old working a part time job is a lot of money.
