2WD what!?

« on: October 15, 2005, 07:24:42 pm »

I was just thinking the other day... this being TRD offroad.com.  I know many Toy enthusiasts drive jacked 4runners and take them the trails, but does Toy actually make a TRD Off Road runner?

Don't believe so. The TRD packages only apply to Tundras and Tacoma's. BUT! TRD does make parts for EVERY vehicle in their lineup, including the MR2 Spyder.

Yeah, I'm aware they make performance products for every vehicle they produce.... hmm, they should really look into a TRD Off Road 4Runner. Wink

I know the Runners don't carry the badging, but I thought the Sport edition still had the same suspension and specs as a TRD Tacoma.

..not 100% sure, though.

I know I have seen TRD on many 4runners around town and on other websites. I'm thinking that they really do make TRD parts that come on the 4runners from the factory. I think that the 4runner on the Cornfed suspension webpage for the 4runner lift is a trd package runner but I could be wrong.

Good to know that I wasn't going crazy and seeing things. I haven't really looked into the '05 Tacomas or 4Runners because I can't afford them anyways.

wow. such a good post. I like that quote. I might have to put that on a t-shirt with an '05 on the back and that around it or something. I'll figure out something and let ya know.
