04 Tacoma TRD

Hi... this is my first post here.

I was just wondering if the 2004 toyota tacoma prerunner ext cab with the TRD package came with the factory installed supercharger, and if so, what kind of fuel is required for it?

You can have the dealer install the TRD supercharger but usually it doesn't come on there because of the price. It will require premium fuel.

ive seen a couple used ones with superchargers on them

you can in stall a s/c your self , its a simple job and you need to use atleast 93 oct.

okay... i was just wondering because I bought a used 2004 tacoma with the TRD package and I'm not sure if it has the supercharger.  Is there any way I can tell by looking under the hood?

the best way would be to look at my pics ofmy truck with the s/c and someone else w/o one.

oh, i didn't realize you had the truck, i thought you were looking to buy one. and you don't have a S/C, but you should be able to pick one up for about 1800. or so. btw it's worth it!

hehe.. yeah sorry, I should have posted a pic of my engine a little sooner.  I bought mine pre-owned.  Anyways.. thanks everbody for your help.
