I'd like to know how you would ever get your fire extinguishers off if you ever needed them or is that supposed to be some sort of home-made fixed fire suppression system? Worse yet they're Kidde dry chem extinguishers.

Spend the extra cash on a Halon extinguisher or two and get a proper bracket from your local fire protection company. The life you save may be your own.
Judging by the disconnected fan wires, the radiator that appears to be just resting in place at the moment, unwired lamps, loose hose clamps and other signs of incompletion I'm guessing the fire extinguishers are hose clamped on for display purposes only.... I hope...
Either way, attached in that manner they ARE for display purposes only.
