2003 Tacoma TRD Pre-Runner Body Lift Install

  So you want a few extra inches out of your Tacoma? A body lift is one cheap way to do just that. Add a little beef to your Tacoma. Here I installed the Performance Accessories 3" BL for a 2003 (Part #5593). Other year models will likely be a little different, but my goal here is to give you a pretty good idea of what all is involved before you make a decision to order yourself a kit.

If you're looking into getting a Roger Brown or other kit keep in mind the PA kit is going to be a little different, but the basics should be close to the same.

What you need:

 
  - PA Body Lift Kit
- Instructions for the Kit
- Socket Set -- Metric AND Standard, make sure you have deep sockets too
- Gap Guards (Can Be Ordered with kit or you can make your own)
- Pliers -- needlenose and such
- Torque Wrench (This is Important!)
- Hydraulic Jack
- Paper or plastic baggies -- to keep all of your hardware organized
